MMWD staff are proposing to open 30 miles of watershed trail to bikes, and this second site walk continues the public process. Showing up still matters. These early site walks help shape the conversation around access, stewardship, and trail management, and a strong community presence ensures a balanced and informed discussion.
This site walk will take place in the Lagunitas area of the watershed. During the walk, MMWD staff will discuss environmental settings, existing trail and road conditions, current uses, and how these align with standards and classifications from the 2005 RTMP, as well as what updates may be forthcoming in the RTMP update. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, share observations, and learn how public input will help inform future planning.
