MMWD staff are proposing to open 30 miles of watershed trail to bikes, and this first site walk marks the beginning of that public process. Showing up matters. Early meetings help shape the conversation around access, stewardship, and trail management, and community presence is critical to ensuring a balanced and informed discussion.

This initial site walk will focus on trails near the West Peak of Mt. Tamalpais. During the walk, MMWD staff will discuss environmental settings, existing trail and road conditions, current uses, and how these align with standards and classifications from the 2005 RTMP, as well as what updates may be forthcoming in the RTMP update.
