Marinduro 2026 Report
Marinduro 2026 delivered everything we could have asked for and more. This year’s event was better than ever and truly brought the Marin County mountain bike scene together for the ultimate weekend of bike racing and festival vibes.
This year, 459 racers signed up to take on the blind enduro course, officially making Marinduro the biggest enduro race in California. Riders traveled from all over to experience the unique mix of technical trails, fast descents, community energy, and the spirit that defines riding in Marin.
Race morning kicked off with glitter being passed around at the start line while the smell of freshly ground coffee and pastries from Red Whale Coffee filled the air. A short rainstorm earlier in the week set the trails up perfectly, creating tacky dirt across the entire course. Combined with blue skies and 75º race day conditions, it could not have been a better day to ride.
This year’s blind race course utilized every inch of downhill in Tamarancho, weaving racers through some of the best terrain Marin has to offer. New features, including the Tamarancho sign jump on Stage 6, ensured the course was fresh and exciting for locals and visitors. Stoke stations throughout the course kept spirits high all day long with snacks, music, dance parties, and even bacon-wrapped pickles between stages.
The celebration continued into the JAMBAR podium party, where racers, volunteers, sponsors, and spectators gathered in the sun to enjoy live music from Free Peoples, tacos and burritos, beverages, and sponsor activations throughout the venue.
A big shoutout to our provision supporters: JAMBAR, Ripple Beer Project, Humboldt Cider, Boochcraft, Hidden Splendor Beer, Ghost Town Brewing, Fairfax Brewing, Evolution Fresh juices, and El Yucateco food truck!
At the podium ceremony, we celebrated the top five racers in every category with prizes provided by our rad partners. Racers also received custom medals made by Enduro Bearings, which were a huge hit. Check one out from a friend if you have not seen them yet.
The top pro racers took home up to $500 in cash prizes, while Solstice Bike Works awarded $100 to the fastest Stage 6 racers on Hobo. We also celebrated the recipient of the Spirit Award for the most fired up two-category racer of the day.
A huge shoutout to Marin Bikes for creating the sickest custom gloves, Sunshine Bicycle Center for making some rad custom drink koozies, and Tommy Breeze for another year of the sickest custom hats for 1st-3rd place podium winners!
Shoutout to our podium and giveaway prize donors: White Industries, Smith Optics, GoPro, WTB, Mike’s Bikes, Sports Basement, JAMBAR, and Marin Bikes.
One of the biggest moments of the afternoon came with the Rally For Trails bike giveaway announcement, where Michael C. of San Rafael became the lucky winner of a $14,000 Specialized S-Works Turbo Levo R. Thank you Specialized Bikes for your commitment to our work building trails in Marin!
Events like Marinduro would not be possible without the incredible support behind the scenes. Nearly 100 volunteers helped make the event run smoothly from start to finish, and 25 sponsors came together to support the race, riders, and community experience that make this event so special while ensuring every podium winner went home with sick prizes.
And of course every single racer, volunteer, and event sponsor went home with a one-of-a-kind tie-dyed Marinduro T-shirt handmade by the Marinduro team for the third year in a row.
We also want to give a huge thank you to Friends of Tamarancho and the Boy Scouts of Marin for allowing us to use these incredible trails. Enduro racing in Marin would not happen without their continued partnership. If you ride Tamarancho, please support them by purchasing an annual pass or a day pass by becoming a Friend of Tamarancho.
Racer photos are available HERE. We were lucky to have volunteer photographers capturing thousands of images out on course, and we could not promote this event without them. A big thank you to Bruce Getty, Kris Cedar, Nick Fain, Jorge Flores (JustPedal), Eric Cutter, Samantha Galvan, Hayden Israel, Matt Young, Erick Morales, and Brad Handel.
Thank you to everyone who raced, volunteered, supported, and celebrated with us at Marinduro 2026. We are already looking forward to next year! Date TBA…
